Too Old To Rock 'N' Roll Too Young To Die

What's the deal with classic bands having reunion tours? I just don't get it. It's the only profession where people can come back years after they've packed it in because they admitted they had become too old to do well at their job, and completely suck, yet people will be more thrilled than ever to pay $200 to see them. Imagine if fire fighters did that?
"Hi, we're here to put out your fire."

"Huh? But all of you are like 85 years old."

"Yep, we're the 1952 reunion squad. Remember when we put out that fire at the 54th street YMCA in 1947? What a doozie that was."

"Huh? I wasn't even born yet. Just hurry up with those hoses. My house is burning down here!"

"Oh, yeah, it is. Ok, guys bring the hose up...Oh? You can't manage to lift it. It's too heavy? Well, we'll just throw some buckets of water at the fire then. Anyone got a bucket without a hole in the bottom?...No one?"

"My house! My fucking house is burning down. Do something."

"Ok, that'll be $247.45 please."

"What's the $47.45 for?"

"That's the Ticketmaster service charge."

Hey the Stones are coming to Regina and sold out so quickly, they booked a 2nd show 2 days before the 1st one. I think people get caught up in the moment and the excitement. { I'm not going to either one} and hell it's great for our tourism.

Ps...time to update sweetie!!!
